Seeking a patient care specialist to handle the front desk duties in a busy chiropractic office. Basic duties will include but are not limited to; answering multi line phone system and addressing patient needs, scheduling new and all follow up appointments in a manner that keeps the patient on their prescribed treatment plan. Collecting payments for services rendered, a knowledge of insurance policies is helpful. Representing the office in a friendly and welcoming manner. Scanning, faxing, shredding and other basic office duties. Scrubs are the required uniform in our office. Experience in a medical office setting is helpful but we are willing to train the right person. This is a full time position.

We are willing to train the right person and assist them with obtaining their Maryland CA license. Ability to perform and teach physical therapy exercises to patients for the entire shift is a must. Positive, friendly attitude and ability to work with all age levels. Monday through Friday, no weekends required. Responsibilities

• Instruct, Demonstrate and Assist patients with rehabilitative therapeutic exercises prescribed by the doctor.
• Operate therapeutic modalities ( EMS, Ultrasound, Laser)
• Properly document therapeutic exercises done with patients on each visit.
• Ensure therapeutic exercise time spent with patients on the rehab floor correlates with the patient's individual insurance coverage.
• Ability to manage patient flow within the office, especially on the rehab floor.
• Perform Balance Assessments and Endurance Test with patients as requested.
• Record vital signs ( height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temp)
• Attend mandatory Doctor/CA meetings every first Wednesday of the month.
• Keep inventory of office supplies/ products sold in the office.
• Sanitize examination rooms, graston tools, rehab equipment before/during/after each shift.
• Make sure examination rooms are properly stocked and ready for every shift.
• Maintain Chiropractic Assistant license and follow all updates from chiropractic board of examiners.
